Greetings Homer community! This is a reminder for our event tomorrow, National Night Out at the Village Green! We will all be joined by community organizations and health agencies, listed below in the flyers. Hope to see you there!
Bike safety helmet checks and child car seat checks will be available during National Night Out. Both tables will be located near the Homer fire department. For child car seat checks appointments are requested. Please call 607-758-5509.

Sign up for the Corn Hole Tournament, which takes place during National Night Out on August 2. The competition will begin at 6 PM on Main Street by the green. Cost is $20 per two-man team. Registrations can be emailed ahead to tdigennaro@homerny.org or at Village table on the green by 5:45 PM August 2 in person. Registrations can also be dropped off at the Village Office. Any emailed entries- fees can be collected on site or at the Village Office at 31 North Main Street, Homer, NY. Proceeds will be split evenly between the winning team and Special Olympics. Attached is a prelude to the Scavenger Hunt opening July 25. Answer the questions, take selfies at some , and find answers to the bonus questions. Entries will be received through the close of the day July 30 for a chance to be Chief at National Night Out, win $100 in Village of Homer Business gift cards, a chance to take pictures with first responders, begin competitions, ride in the police car, and receive a Homer Fire Department and Village Hat. Entries are open to all ages. Parent consent to required for underage winner/winners.

The Village of Homer Board of Trustees meeting for June 28 is cancelled. The next meeting will be July 12 at 6 P.M.

This event is on June 24th for boys or girls entering 3rd through 6th grade, from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Jr. High Fields.
$10 for Homer residents, $20 for non-residents.
On Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22, the following Village of Homer roads will be milled. Individuals may experience delays. Please use alternate routes when possible. The roads are scheduled to be paved 1-2 weeks later. Please call the Village Offices at 607-749-3322 with any questions.
