Message: Loved being back! Had a wonderful time at Bob Carmer's wedding. The kids loved the candy-filled pinata shaped like the Shrek donkey. Punch got everywhere but thankfully the lovely bride didn't mind things getting dirty. Sanchez was a riot as well and gave the best speech; great joke about the priest and the camel. Toes aplenty were stepped on throughout the night but a great time by all although we were all rusty. Trombone player from Cortland was great, btw. Thanks to the members of the Homers Elks and Cortland Moose. Knuckles in particular had a great time.

Was back home in 1991 to my brother's for a family reunion. So Jim Hawthorne and Doug Tracy, I am still alive and well. Been retired for the last 5 years but work part time to keep from dying early. Message: I am doing the Moor family genealogy and my research comes to Homer in the years 1880 to 1920 and then I am left wondering what happened to the family. It begins with William Moor coming to Homer and he was a farmer, with wife Lorinda (2nd wife, born NY) daughters Mary Ann, Sarah Jane, son John, Thomas and Joseph, and daughter Libbie. Message: I was born in Cortland in 1946. The first home that I remeber was in Homer on Pine Street. My best friend was Leroy. We moved to Cortland when I was only 5 or 6 and then on to Oneonta and finally Binghamton. I graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1965 and immediately joined the Army. 'Served 5 years including 1 in Vietnam. Afterwards graduated from Rutgers and got my Masters there also. Spent 7 years in Maine and now live in NC. I have wonderful memories of Homer. My dad was a volunteer fireman. I remember Brigg's Cadillac and when city hall was a theater. I used to play football behind the library and remember when the band stand didn't have front stairs. My sister and I visited again last year. It's always good to go back home. I'll forever be the boy who was born on the banks of the Tioughnioga and raised on the banks of the Susquehanna.

great. I found some people that I have lost touch with and will
